The Gleamery is a venture-backed health & wellness startup focused on reinventing the dental industry. The Gleamery is building the first national dental brand specializing in professional grade, expeditious teeth whitening and cleaning. The Gleamery’s studios will have a hospitality and design focused ethos and a seamless, technology enabled customer experience. The first two locations are opening in Portland, Oregon, one in September and the other later this year. The Gleamery will open studios in cities across the U.S., building a nationwide brand leader in preventive and cosmetic dental care. The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced, driven and entrepreneurial Growth Marketing Manager to lead digital marketing, customer segmentation, and retention. This role is right for you if:

 

  • You are a seasoned growth marketer with deep digital and technical knowledge, and a history of running multi-channel customer acquisition campaigns
  • You have experience segmenting customer databases, gleaning unique insights about those cohorts, and driving action based on these insights to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of paid acquisition campaigns
  • You understand how to digitally acquire incremental customers, how to nurture an existing customer and trigger an additional visit, and you are familiar with the nuances of the channels (email, SMS, etc.) required to drive that behaviour
  • You are a self-starter, seek new opportunities to build a brand from scratch, and have a knack for finding ways to grow a business
  • You lead by example, are technically savvy, and can inspire a team of colleagues and partners towards a common goal
  • You are looking for a new challenge, an opportunity to on outsized responsibility, and a role that can accelerate your learning

     

    THE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee all paid media, customer segmentation, and growth marketing
    • Coordinate the execution of paid campaigns from beginning to end, including management of project timelines, coordinating content creation, managing agency partners, ongoing program optimization, and campaign reporting
    • Lead and manage day-to-day relationships with marketing related agencies to meet business targets and financials goals
    • Lead weekly and monthly reporting
    • Work collaboratively with the cross functional team on the monthly marketing calendar that meets brand and business goals
    • Champion the strategy development, execution and measurement of customer acquisition
    • Lead any research, focus groups, surveys, or data collection for the purpose of better understanding our customers and ideating new offers
    • Oversee the financial impact and ROI of each offer and the impact each new customer is adding to the overall business
    • Work with technology partners to create a culture and process for optimization, retention and remarketing
    • Analyze performance and make data-driven recommendations on how to improve operations

     

    THE CANDIDATE

    • 5-7 years experience at a consulting firm, marketing agency, technology company, or startup
    • Deep knowledge in digital acquisition, performance marketing, paid media and customer segmentation
    • Strong analytical skills and creative approach to solving unstructured problems
    • A history of driving profitable growth using paid media channels, balancing experimentation while managing towards CPA
    • Track record of managing a weekly marketing scorecard and deep understanding of analytics, conversion attribution and differences in attribution amongst platforms.
    • A bias for action and confident making decisions
    • Ability to manage ambiguity
    • A degree in business, management, or related field
    •  Exceptional communication, excel and influencing skills
