The Gleamery is a venture-backed health & wellness startup focused on reinventing the dental industry. The Gleamery is building the first national dental brand specializing in professional grade, expeditious teeth cleaning and whitening - the recurring dental services that the modern millennial customer wants and needs.  The Gleamery’s studios have a hospitality and design focused ethos and a seamless, technology enabled customer experience. The Gleamery is opening studios in cities across the U.S., building a nationwide brand leader in preventive and cosmetic dental care. The Gleamery is looking to recruit exceptionally talented individuals to join our mission-driven, LA-based HQ team.

We are looking for a Head of Marketing to join our team and help us build a world class brand and marketing engine. This individual will lead our marketing, growth, member acquisition, and brand marketing efforts and report directly to the CEO. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with diverse teams on short and long-term projects to deliver meaningful value across the organization. We are a group of experienced operators, entrepreneurs and investors in the consumer-technology space, financed by BrandProject. This role is based in Los Angeles.

The Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and drive the company’s customer acquisition, ranging from paid media channels to organic channels
  • Coordinate the execution of paid campaigns from beginning to end, including management of project timelines, coordinating content creation, managing agency partners, ongoing program optimization, and campaign reporting
  • Lead weekly and monthly reporting across all growth KPIs in the business
  • Grow the Gleamery brand and community footprint through region-wide partnerships, influencer relationships, and local activations
  • Oversee new studio openings to achieve performance requirements
  • Manage PR consultants to ensure we receive a steady stream of press
  • Work collaboratively with the cross functional team on the monthly marketing calendar that meets brand and business goals
  • Co-lead any research, focus groups, surveys, or data collection for the purpose of better understanding our customers and ideating new offers with other business stakeholders
  • Oversee the financial impact and ROI of each offer and the impact each new customer is adding to the overall business & financial plan 
  • Set and deliver on aggressive deadlines and drive yourself and the team around you to action, approaching the work with a no-ego attitude and rolling up your sleeves to tackle whatever needs to be done

The Candidate

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, growth, consulting, strategy, operations, startups, or related roles
  • Deep knowledge in digital acquisition, retention, performance marketing, paid media and customer segmentation
  • Strong analytical skills and creative approach to solving unstructured problems
  • A history of driving profitable growth using various marketing channels, balancing experimentation while managing towards CAC targets
