Key Responsibilities
GleamFit Aligner Support
Support the clinical and guest experience components of the GleamFit aligner process in collaboration with the supervising dentist and treatment coordination team.
- Capture high-quality diagnostic records, including photos, iTero scans, and X-rays (as permitted by certification), to support aligner evaluations.
- Provide clear, supportive education on the GleamFit aligner process, including general treatment flow and expectations.
- Reinforce treatment recommendations and next steps as communicated by the supervising dentist.
- Assist with scheduling, coordination, and follow-up to support continuity of care.
- Conduct timely and professional follow-up with guests via phone, text, and email.
- Collaborate closely with the dentist and clinical team to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Preventive & Cosmetic Treatment Support
Provide chairside and operational support for clinical procedures in accordance with Dental Assistant scope of practice and under the direction of the supervising dentist.
- Assist with comprehensive dental exams, including room setup, chairside support, and clinical documentation.
- Perform iTero scans, radiographs (as certified), and assist with salivary diagnostics as directed by the clinical team.
- Support hygiene and whitening workflows by preparing rooms, instruments, and materials.
- Assist with night guard and retainer workflows, including scans, guest education, and coordination.
- Provide chairside support for a variety of preventive and cosmetic procedures.
- Maintain efficient operatory flow during procedures, anticipating provider needs.
Guest Experience
Deliver a high-touch, hospitality-driven experience while supporting smooth guest flow throughout the studio.
- Welcome guests warmly and create a positive, professional first impression.
- Respond to guest inquiries via phone, text, and email in a timely and professional manner.
- Escort guests through each stage of their visit, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience.
- Prepare and reset comfort add-on technologies for guest use.
- Support check-out processes, including scheduling follow-up visits and coordinating next steps.
- Assist with appointment confirmations and rebooking to support continuity of care.
- Collaborate with the Guest Services team to maintain an organized and efficient daily schedule.
- Address guest questions and concerns with a solution-oriented approach, escalating when appropriate.
Studio Operations & Team Collaboration
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment while supporting overall studio operations.
- Maintain a spotless and well-prepared studio environment, including operatory turnover, sterilization, and infection control protocols.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable safety and infection control standards.
- Uphold HIPAA and guest privacy standards at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and preparation of treatment materials.
- Prepare operatories, instruments, and materials ahead of each procedure to support efficient clinical flow.
- Support both clinical and front-of-house operations as needed throughout the day.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and company initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills
- Active Dental Assistant certification (as required by the state of California).
- Current California Radiation Safety Certificate (if performing radiographs).
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
- Experience supporting orthodontic or clear aligner workflows preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Comfort using dental technology and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
