Covered by most dental insurance.

Here's How It Works:

At The Gleamery, we’re an out-of-network provider, which means you’ll pay out-of-pocket at the time of your visit—but you may still be eligible for insurance reimbursement. After your appointment, we’ll provide you with a Superbill—an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.

Services typically eligible for reimbursement include Standard & AirFlow Cleanings, Gleam Exams & X-rays, and GleamFit Aligners. These are often covered under preventive or orthodontic care, depending on your specific plan.

Cosmetic treatments, such as whitening or facial aesthetic services, and any add-ons not deemed medically necessary are generally not covered by insurance. Need help with the Superbill submission process? We’re happy to walk you through it—just ask in-studio or contact us anytime.

Frequently Asked Questions

What insurance do you accept?

Though we do not bill your insurance directly, almost all dental insurance plans will reimburse you for most of the cost of your dental cleaning. Providers that typically reimburse following a visit with The Gleamery are: Aetna, Ameritas, Blue Cross Blue Shield, CIGNA, Dominion, Geha, Guardian, Humana, Kaiser PPO, Lincoln Financial Group, MetLife, Mutual of Omaha, Pacific source, Premera, Principal, Sunlife, United Concordia, and United Healthcare.

What if I don’t have dental insurance?

No insurance, no problem. Our pricing is structured to be able to offer affordable treatments at exceptional levels of care, so you never have to sacrifice smile-care when you don’t have insurance. Our pricing is listed online and in your appointment confirmation so you know exactly how much your visit will cost before you head in to the studio.

Will you bill my insurance for me?

We do not bill your insurance provider directly. While in the studio, we will provide you with all relevant paperwork and superbill to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

Will my insurance cover Cleaning & Whitening?

Most insurance covers most or all of the cost of teeth cleanings. Whitenings are considered cosmetic and are not covered by insurance. If you purchase a Cleaning & Whitening, we will provide you with the relevant materials to submit your cleaning to your insurance for reimbursement.

How many times does my insurance allow me to come in?

Cleaning frequency is dependent per plan, average coverage is 2 cleanings every 12 months or 1 every 6 months. Confirm your coverage with your insurance directly.
