Studio Manager

The Gleamery is a venture-backed health and wellness startup focused on reinventing the dental industry. The Gleamery is building the first national dental brand specializing in professional grade, expeditious teeth cleaning and whitening - the recurring dental services that the modern millennial customer wants and needs. The Gleamery’s studios have a hospitality and design focused ethos and a seamless, technology enabled guest experience. The Gleamery is opening studios in cities across the U.S., building a nationwide brand leader in preventive and cosmetic dental care. The Gleamery is looking to recruit an exceptionally talented individual to join our mission-driven, West Hollywood-based team.

Join The Gleamery team and take the helm as our Studio Manager, overseeing all aspects of our innovative dental studio operations. At The Gleamery, we're dedicated to reinventing the dental industry, offering professional-grade teeth cleaning and whitening services in a welcoming, tech-savvy environment. As Studio Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our mission, driving operational excellence, revenue growth, and guest satisfaction.


Operations Excellence:

  • Oversee all end-to-end daily operations of the studio, including (but not limited to): P&L, scheduling, team management, guest experience, facilities maintenance, verifying insurance, and execution of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, and schedules to uphold the highest standards of guest care, facility maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational protocols, promptly addressing maintenance issues and coordinating with vendors as needed.

    Revenue Growth:

    • Drive growth across three revenue streams: memberships, a la carte services, and retail.
    • Optimize Hygiene and Guest Services schedules to maximize production and ensure shift coverage across both the standard and flex schedules.
    • Help increase rebooking rate while minimizing cancellations.
    • Collaborate with Marketing and the Support Office on revenue generating initiatives.


    Financial Management: 

    • Collaborate with the Support Office to align on daily, weekly, and monthly revenue targets, implementing corrective measures when necessary.
    • Control expenses, manage purchasing of studio supplies, and maintain accurate inventory counts and demand plans for retail products.
    • Demonstrate an ability to articulate variances in revenue/sales/expenses versus budget.


    Sales Strategy: 

    • Develop and execute The Gleamery studio sales strategy to enhance client acquisition, retention, upselling, and cross-selling efforts, effectively meeting sales goals and boosting overall studio volume.
    • Implement and manage a referral program to incentivize current members and drive new member acquisition.
    • Develop and implement a B2B strategy bringing to life both in-kind professional and standard-commercial revenue streams.


    Guest and Member Engagement: 

    • Identify opportunities to enhance member satisfaction, loyalty, and appreciation through personalized milestones and surprises.
    • Organize and host special events, workshops, and programming to elevate member engagement and increase brand awareness.
    • Resolve member/guest complaints in an expeditious and tactful manner following company procedure and documentation.


    Team Leadership: 

    • Lead, motivate, and manage the studio team, providing ongoing feedback, performance management, and training to drive employee engagement and development.
    • Foster a culture of open communication and constructive feedback, creating an inspirational environment that supports employee well-being and professional growth.


    Recruitment and Training: 

    • Recruit and onboard top talent, ensuring the highest caliber of team members to deliver exceptional service and drive studio success.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors, implementing strategies to keep the studio competitive and innovative.
    • Assist with recruitment and training for new Gleamery locations.


    Salary: 
    $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
